Royal Blunts Blazing Into Breakaway Carolina

Breakaway Carolina 2025 arrived with high expectations: two days of non-stop energy, bass-fueled sets, immersive activations, and a crowd ready to move. And this year, Royal Blunts is bringing more than music—they’re bringing a brand presence that’s set to elevate the festival experience.

Breakaway Carolina returned to the zMAX Dragway in Concord, NC, on September 26–27, 2025.  It’s quickly become one of Charlotte’s EDM staples, and 2025 was its biggest edition yet.

With headliners like John Summit, Eli Brown, Kaytranada, and Louis the Child anchoring the bill, Breakaway mixes national headliners with local talent to keep the setlist fresh.  Mad respect to all the artists, production staff, and the fans for working around the weather to make sure the entire bill got their chance to shine.

A couple of our favorite sets of the weekend were definitely, Its Murph on Main Stage as well as Wuki on The Launch Pad Stage!  They brought great tracks and even better energy.
